National Book Awards
Thursday, November 16th, 2006The National Book Awards were presented last night - I haven’t read many of the finalists this year (and none of the winners), but I do want to point out Gene Luen Yang’s American Born Chinese. It’s the first graphic novel ever to make it that far, and it’s fantastic (in both senses of the word).
One small step for a graphic novel - one giant leap for sequential art.
