Shame

So I’m minding my own business, reading along, when I happen across this post at The Panda’s Thumb - it’s a response to an essay by a lecturer (not, as the post indicates, a professor) in the UNC-Chapel Hill philosophy department.

I went to UNC as an undergrad; I double-majored in philosophy and biology there, and had the pleasure of learning from some of the brightest people I’ve ever met (Louise Antony (now at Ohio State, I believe) and Bill Lycan made up 2/3rds of my honors thesis committee). I’m ashamed to see that someone hired by the University is spouting this pro-ID-in-schools nonsense.
