My earliest memory of TPC is intimately tied to the public library in my hometown. I can distinctly remember wandering into the A’s section of the children’s lit and seeing the cover of The Book of Three. I recall passing it on several visits to that aisle before finally picking it up - but once I got around to it, I loved it. I devoured the rest of the series in short order.
Fast forward to me several years later, around age 20. I picked up a copy of TBoT at my local bookstore out of nostalgia and fell in love again. I’ve reread the series annually ever since, and two and a half years ago joined a low-traffic discussion list on the Chronicles. Finally, several of us from the list got together in January ‘01 to create the Prydain Guide - an online resource devoted to the books, with character profiles, plot summaries, etc.
